PC Parts Depot works with a few web stores including Amazon, Newegg, Buy.com etc.  They are a third party seller to these major sellers however, there terms and conditions are far from the norm such as what we are all used to when dealing with the formentioned sellers.

For one, all returns are subject to 20% re-stocking fee's of which no legitimate etailer has in place. Also, it appears that no matter what the error might be, they want the customer to pay for return shipping, even if the item might be dmaged, defective or they sent the wrong color and so forth.

It also appears they are taking orders from the above etailers, processing and shipping them, delaying sending or updating the customer with a tracking number until AFTER the orders are shipped and on their way. Why? To be sure that if you change your mind and want to change or cancel an order, that they can collect the restocking fee's therefore making a profit by selling nothing. In other words, they are fulfilling a legitmate order but by delaying the status of your processing to shipping and tracking information, you are lead to beleive you still have time to alter or cancel your order. Later, you find it's been processed and shipped and it's now too late to make changes at no cost.

Seems they do this to avoid having to honor themselves as they should and take unfair advantage of buyers and their last minute decissions in ordering.  I'd stay away from any on line seller who takes a 20% fee for any reason.  None of the ones still in business today do which says much as to why they are still taking orders and satisfying existing and new customers.
