Ah...Emerald Court Apartment Homes, with it's cool website showing you their "world class amenities" available to you. You are pretty much forced to obtain Renter's Insurance to have access to the pool, the coin-op laundry room, the gym and the computers they feature with the excuse that is it in the contract. I have a copy, and that is not in the contract, the insurance is optional, but anyhow, they demand that plus a $10 activation fee for the "pool key" or you can pay them $200 a month to use the amenities!!! They charged us extra once we left, they said for "carpet shampoo", "new paint", "stains in the carpet", and all these lies. They gave us the apartment with cheap paint, carpet stains that they made us aware of, and dead bugs with cat hair all around the edges of the apartment. It is a lame place full of junkies, and while our stay they even stole our car and no one saw anything. They are fake, and lie to you to get your money. We invested a lot of money on this craphole and I just want people to be aware that they are not honest in their business. If you ever consider living here, or renting with AMC Llc look elsewhere. Make sure you check who the management is in the aparments.
