The provider was contacted to move our items from Maryland to Texas. We have had so many issues with this company it's ridiculous. They offered the option of having the truck weighed instead of us getting charged for the assumed weight. They tried their best to sway us from that option because it turned out that it was significantly less than what they said it would be and they lost money from it. With that situation, we were told that we would be able to witness the weighing of the empty truck so that we could verify that they weren't weighing the truck with a full tank of gas and it was in the same condition and same emptiness as it was when they weighed it with our items on the truck. We were not contacted and basically was lied to so that we could not be present even though that is what we were promised by the owner "David". David is a con artist. After all of the back and forth, we finally agreed to go with the weight that they weighed when we were not present because quite honestly we were just exhausted from their lack of integrity, unprofessionalism, and tact after David refused over and over to not weigh the truck again so we could be present. [continued below]....

..... We called for our items and when it arrived, our carpet shampooer and our weedwacker were missing. The driver of the truck Jake said that typically when the stickers are placed on the paper that means "they stole your items"... which I found surprising that the things were missing because Jake swore he checked everything upon loading the truck however these two items were missing which I guess is why he wanted the money upfront. We called our accountt rep Alan and he said that they "fire individuals that steal and have a no tolerance policy"...yeah right Alan, clearly that just standard protocol for you all. He was probably reading from a script. We were then told David would be contacting us which of course NEVER happened....  It is completely sad that you can not pay a company good money and expect them to be somewhat ethical in today's society. Even if you have low expectations for a company in regards to the condition that your things arrive in...this company will still manage to completely disappoint you. What is more amazing is that people have complained about this company time and time again on BBB but David will get on and respond that you have clearly mistaken the company and gotten it mixed up with a company out of Florida which BBB is too stupid because they still rate them an A all because they “Resolve the problem” by responding to the compaints….but where’s the resolve in that? AmericaN Van Lines or America VaN lines....which ever way you flip it David your company is unethical, and should be condemned for your consistent inconsistencies with customer service. If I accomplish nothing else and at this point I don't expect to get any of our stolen items back (Consider it a donation to your unfortunate company and all of it's convict employees) I hope to warn future customers so that they will NEVER consider such a company for their future move.
