American Electric Bike & Scooter Co. Received My Battery and Charger and Never Replaced Them North Miami Florida

In July of 2013 I purchased an electric moped from American Electric Bicycle and Scooter Co.  Shortly after receiving it, I discovered that the battery did not maintain the 40+ mile charge advertised but in fact would only remain charged for 10 miles or less before I would have to completely recharge it.  I notified the company and was asked to send not only the battery but the charger to them (at my cost) and I did so through FedEx Verified.  FedEx verified indicated that they signed for the package on or about August 15th. 

Since then I have received no further correspondence with either Arie Gad (the employee I spoke to on the phone at the company) nor anyone else representing them, nor have I received replacements for my battery and charger.  It has been in excess of six months and I have no working vehicle thanks to their poor business ethics.  I have tried more than once to contact them without luck and have even reported them to a few agencies.  At this point I simply want a full refund of the purchase cost for the bike, $2039.00.  They are welcome to come and take the rest of it back if they wish to do so.
