My car was stolen and my insurance companies payed their part. My insurance gave me all the papers to sent to gap. Me and my wife sent them everything they requested. Sometime went by and we called them to check the status and they said they only received one paper out of a packet of about 20 pages of documents. So we grove all over getting copies of everything again and they gave us a fax number this time. We faxed everthing once more. We waited called again then they said they only got two papers that we faxed. Now I'm pissed so I call demand to speak with a supervisor and she tells me she is so sorry about all of this making us sent and fax over and over again so she gives me her name and direct fax number and I fax the suff again. This time I called right back to make sure they received everything they confirm. Next thing I no we get a letter says they won't pay the claim because we did not send the documents before the dead line. Bull because they sent me a paper requeasting the documents after the deadline date. Why make me sent the docs. if the dead line is already over. I will never purchase gap insurance because now I'm out of the $500.00 I gave them for the insurance and I still have $3500.00 showing on my credit report for the rest of the unpaid loan.
