We had to file chpt 13 in 2003 because at that time Option One "lost" 3 payments and foreclosed on us. 3 months after filing the 13 Option One called us to say that the found those 3 payments and "sorry for any inconvenience" but we were already in the 13 and couldn't get out so for 5 long years we suffered. So June 2008 we were finally done with the 13 and we found out since we filed Option One sold out mortgage to American Home. HAHAHAHAHA what a waste of paper work. I sent in my first payment in August as I was told to do by their bankrupcty dept and I was told that my NEW payment was to be $1014.73 and AHMS sent it back to me stating that I was still in the 13 and they could not accept the payment ????? I called and was told oops sorry send it back so I sent in back along with the September payment. Guess what I got them both back!!! because their computers still show us in the 13. So I called and got this very rude person that could not even speak english, he told me that his computer doesn't show me ever sending in payments. I explained to him that I have a letter from his company along with my checks. He said that I should not have any letter from AHMS because they would have NEVER sent my checks back. OMG!!! At the end of Sept. they finally got and processed my 2 month payments.

Then here is when the good stuff starts. I got this letter from AHMS stating that my escrow acct was in the negative and they were going to raise my mortgage payment $300.00 to adjust for the negative balance. The kicker is I was in a 13 and there is NO WAY MY ESCROW could have went negative while I was in the 13 and also my trustee sent AHMS a certified letter BEFORE they closed out my case asking AHMS if my mortgage was current. No response from AHMS my trustee then deemed my mortgage to be current and closed our 13. They can not collect on any money that was involved in my 13 and that's is what they are trying to do at this time. They are now moving things around in my account to try to show the negative balance AFTER the 13. So here I am 1 yr. later and it's still not correct and I have been told 4 different mortgage payment amounts. Confused, hurt and very pissed off!!! STAY AWAY FROM AMERICAN HOME MORTGAGE SERVICING!!!!
