American Iron Bed Company Bad delivery and very unhappy San Mateo California

Their delivery service, Sun, couldn't deliver the bed as promised because the driver had a heart attack. Ok. I had arranged for my 85-year old mother to wait for them but of course I understood. Then they called the the night before to say they're running a day behind. Maybe the following night maybe the next morning. I called the bed company to complain. The lady on the phone was super condescending because the driver had a heart attack and why wasn't I more understanding?  I understand the guy had a heart attack but I paid for special delivery and white glove service and I expect to be better informed and to not have to ask my mom to wait another day. I asked for my delivery charge to be refunded and she says, "Well we're not gonna do that!"  Why not?  Why am I to suffer the brunt of the misfortune?  It's their delivery service. I'm the customer. Where is the loyalty to their customers and why is she speaking down to me?  I've been waiting weeks for this bed!!! So last night, after I called them, they said they couldn't come that evening but could make it the following day -- during a 2-hour window I can't have anyone available to receive it.  An hour after that window, I can have someone there -- she says at that time the driver will be 3 hours away.  Huh?  She eventually hangs up on me.  Haven't heard back.  If I don't get it tomorrow I will ask for my money back and put it in dispute with Amex.  Wish I could report on the product, but after 2 months haven't seen it.
