I was online looking for home to rent or buy. I saw a home i liked and called the contact phone number to try and view the house, a woman by the name of Monica answered and told me about the program. I was told all i had to do was go online at the web site and look at the houses they had to offer and pick the ones  i liked then call customer service (877-3951296) and would set up arraingement with the ower's to view the house and if i had a problem to contact Monica at her personel ext. (805-6894452). Well i found several homes i liked but when icalled customer service i was told i had to go on the web site and write aletter to the owner telling them that i would assume their mortgage for them. Now the way the letter read to me the owners did not know anything about American standard. So i called customer service back and told them that iwanted to cancell the order and wanted my $199 back because i was mislead, these were 100,000 houses and all i would be paying a month was $500 they told me they dont know what Monica told me but that was how the program worked. So i then called Monica and told her what i was told by her and that wanted to cancell and wanted my money because i had no intentions of writing anyone telling them that i would assume their mortgages, because iknew i wouldnt qualify and she hung up on me.

American standard ripoff

AUTHOR: StephnTony - ()

POSTED: Thursday, May 16, 2013

I too have been lied to from American standard foreclosures, I spoke with a gentleman in januaryof 2013 and followed their instructions, I had no luck in finding a home and called back to get my money refunded..I was told that if I didn't get a response in 60 days I would get a full refund. I waited past 90 days and I called back and was told I needed to write a letter requesting a refund and send it certified, which I did. I followed up with a phone call to them once I received the notification  american standard received the letter. I was told to callback in a week and I just got off the phone irate because now I'm told I need 5 denial letters from the homeowners I sent letters to. I'm struggling to earn an honest living and I have these scum bags giving me a run around! They were quick to take my money but now giving me a terrible time getting me my deserved money!!!
