I have been trying to work with ASC for over a year. They told us to stop making our pymts so that we can be put thru the mod process. Numerous faxes and phone calls made. Each time you talk to someone, the story and information provided is different. Your paperwork was not all signed....you are missing pages.....unable to read illegible copy.....outdated information. All of this information was told to me ever 4-6 weeks. After a nearly a year, I finally decided that I was not going to fax anything to them. Called and spoke to several people and surprisingly enough, verified a physical address of where to overnight a pkg of information to. The pkg contained anything and everything that they had asked for in the past year. EVERYTHING was signed and dated and all were original docs...no copies for them to say they were unreadable. The package was sent overnight and was signed for. 2 weeks later there is a notice on my door telling me that there was a sale date sent for the following month. I called and spoke with 3 different people. 1st said that they did not have any record of me requesting a mod. 2nd person said that they did have record, but I had not responded to any of their correspondence for over a month. I asked to speak with a manager/supervisor. Supervisor I spoke with took the tracking information and stated she would research where the package was as it went to a totally different dept than she was in. She asked me to call back w/i 2 days to follow up with her. Called back 2 days later, and no one new who this person was. Again they proceeded to tell me that I had not had any contact with them since a month prior. Sale date was pushed for another 2 month while they researched where the pkg went. I tried to f/u every week for information and each time, there was little to no record of my calls. Even though their recording states that they are attempting to collect a dept and conversation may be recorded. Guess I was the unlucky one because mine never were. New sale date set for Sept 8th. Talked to a rep to find out where they were with their research. Rude girl tells me that she has no idea and she suggested that I fax the information in so that I would not be waisting time. I faxed more information in against my will and what do you know......they never received it!!! Sept 8th came and went and no posting on our door. Called and spoke with a rep that stated they would be sending and express pkg to me that I needed to respond to right away. The express pkg that they sent was an add stating that they could help to save my home. All I had to do was call and talk to them about a loan modification. Sept 11th.....Century 21 rep came and locked up our house. He stated that he had checked out the house several times and each time he came in the mornings and afternoons and it did not appear that anyone lived there anymore. To him the house was vacant.....even though all utilities were still on. There was a house full of furniture and personal belongings. Food in the fridge. So he reported to ASC that the house was vacant and ASC gave them permission to lock up the house. C21 rep stated that the mortgage company told him we had not made contacts for a modification and that we stopped our payments. He did not even give one day to move out. We were only given a few hours to pack and move all of our things. No 30 day notice or anything was ever given. ASC has taken over our house!
