americorp diesel repair Charged outragous price and didnt even do the work right. houston, Texas

I have a 2007 volvo that i needed a thermostat for. I was told that it would take 4 hours at 1pm so i told them to get started because i was on a tight schedule and i knew their shop rate was 95 an hour and the thermostat shouldnt be no more than 100 dollars. So i was thinking it would be around 550-600 out the door. Boy was i wrong...They brought me the estamate and $1,121.26 later i was shocked but they already started and i needed to be on the road to laredo. Well they was very rude when i asked them explain the invoice to me so anyway after 5 hours i was back on the road for a short time. I only made it 17 miles before all the parts they put back on after replacing the thermostat started leaking out all my coolant. The service call guys came out and told me to return to the shop, Once back at the shop they found a new rubber seal torn, a hose loose and the thermostat seal not properly installed. This caused me to be down overnite resulting in me loosing my laredo load plus the load coming out of laredo.

Noone here wanted to listen to what i had to say or the questions i was asking the next morning. Besides the down time they caused me, the overcharing, the lack of work performance, this place is a ripoff. Not driver friendly at all, shop is in terriable shape, and very bad launage coming from the office the whole time i was their.

After being broke down all night because of their poor work, i woke up and started calling around to different volvo dealer shops. I explained to them what i had done to my truck and asked what their price would be for the exact same thing, all three shops called me back and to my supprise their prices were 625-750 thats 350+ cheaper than what Americorp diesel repair charged me. When i went through my invoice it looked like this, 95 for diao,285 for removal of thermostat,142.50 for install of thermostat, 89 to go 13 miles to pick part up, 97.25 for thermostat, 19.63 seal,6.32 gasket, 39.26 seal ring, 240.70 for coolant, and 67.84 for shop supplies... 

I asked what did they use 67.84 worth of shop supplies on and no answer. Also they charged me for 10 gallons of antifreeze my truck only held 10 gallons and it takes 50/50 so thats 5 gallons of antifreeze and 5 gallons of water. With that being said they charged me 10 gallons at 24.07 a gallon which equals 240.70,  so that means not only did they charge 24.07 for a gallon of antifreeze they also charged me $24.07 for a gallon of water all together being $120.35 for 5 gallons of water. When i pointed that out to them thinking they had made a mistake Sherry explained to me that they had to buy 10 gallons of pure antifreeze and then delute it, i explained if thats true that makes 20 gallons and my truck only held 10 so i should only be charged for 5 gallons of antifreeze and then delute it to 50/50 and that makes 10 gallons she suddenly turned into attack mode and began to cuss under her breath and said theirs nothing their gonna do about it. Thats a rip off and no one could explain why they said thats just how they do it.
