Warning: I got some ammo from Erik McGuire at Ammunition Planet called Oak Island Ammo and went shooting with my buddy and after a while a round went off and the case just blew apart and cut my finger. It didn't need stitches but sure scared the hell out of me. I was shooting it out of my Glock 17. I'm glad i had Glasses on because a tiny piece of the case hit my cheek. I checked out my Gun the next day and it looks ok but i'm afraid to shoot any more of this ammo. I talked to Erik McGuire and he basically told me all sales are final and that they do not accept returns.. I'm really upset about this because I have no recourse and i'm out $ 225.00. I dont want to sell it on Gunbroker because I dont want anybody else to get injured.. Anyway, live and learn. I hope by posting this it will save someone else from going through what I went through.

Dangerous Ammo

I too bought some ammo from this place. It didn't look safe, i ended up case gauging it and had to toss away about 50 of the 1,000 rounds I got. I had some light strikes too. Ended up using it in my practice gun. I agree that there are better choices out there..

I thought the Gun was ok at first but later I found it cracked inside the Polymer Frame.
