On February 16, 2015, I came across an ad on the internet about a audio device that you could place over your iPhone 6 or 6 Plus that would allow you to hear sound more clearly and distinctively from your iPhone device. Just purchasing my new iPhone 6 Plus I assume it would be another great accessory to have for my iPhone. The order was then placed in the amount of $105. There was at the time a stipulation that the device would be sent out that following fall. Upon the arrival time I noticed nothing had been received. I email the company and was told this: Tuyen (SoundFocus) Oct 31, 23:49 Hello, We sent an update on 10/30 where we had to shift the shipping schedule of the iPhone 6/6s Plus AMP to Summer of

2016. It was a tough decision for us but we now have a much clearer path to mass production. We'll be sharing details on our progress each month so you can see how we go through each of the remaining phases of production. We thank you so much for your support and please let me know if I can help with anything. Tuyen ... So now the season is upon us. I decide to check in to see when I would be receiving my device. This is the current message I received after going on the website (https://medium.com/@AMP/soundfocus-may-2016-update) on 5/15/2016: Company Update: We have important news to share with you regarding AMP. The last few months have been incredibly challenging for us and we want to let

you know what this means for AMP and the company. Please follow the link to read the full update: May 2016 Update: It is with a heavy heart that I write this blog post. Over the past few months a series of truly unfortunate events have unfolded. The result is that we will not be able to deliver the AMP case and we are now forced to wind down the company. I could not be more crushed by this outcome or more sorry that we could not find a way to bring AMP to market. My team and I have done everything in our power to deliver AMP to you. What happened? At the beginning of this year, a critical investment fell through. This forced the company to seek immediate alternatives. When additional investment was not

forthcoming, we had to turn to finding an acquirer to help us fulfill our pre-orders. We spoke with a large number of potential buyers and ultimately found one that was keen to help bring AMP to market. After several months of negotiation and receiving a letter of intent from the potential acquirer, the deal fell through at the final stages. This was the final blow that has now forced us to close our doors. Four years ago I started SoundFocus to create technologies that would make hearing disability a thing of the past. This company has been my life. I have worked tirelessly to make this vision a reality and deliver AMP into your hands. I wanted to empower people to use the devices they already own to improve their

hearing and their lives. I’m disappointed that we couldn’t produce a better outcome for those who supported us the most: our pre-order customers, our investors, our vendors. Everyone who supported us was supporting our vision of helping the world hear better. We are now forced to wind down the company through a formal bankruptcy process. Again, we are incredibly sorry about this outcome and we will be doing everything that we can to support this process. Moving forward, future updates will only be published here on our blog: https://medium.com/@AMP. Thank you again for your support and understanding. Sincerely, Alex There's been no mention of refunds or how to obtain a refund. They made buyers wait for

one year and a half for a product, they probably knew was a fail; but kept buyers holding on long enough to later bailed out leaving us with no recourse.
