When shown the Amway business, prospects are shown the "A" business (Amway), but not the "B" (BSM - Business Support Materials) business. However, the upper 1% of Amway IBOs (distributors) make most of their money from the "B" business, while 99+% of lower level IBOs operate at a loss, thanks to the high BSM pricing. Because so much money is made from the "B" business by the top 1%, Amway is free to raise their product prices and minimize the bonus payments, with the end result a double loss for the 99+% of IBOs.
