I had recieved several calls from this company but not recognizing the number I didn't answer the calls until yesterday when I was informed by security officer John that I was being sued and that there was an arrest warrant out for me for non \payment of a debt.

When I asked for  more information he got very angry and said that I would have to verify some information before he would help me. He had my social and address and said that I owed for a payday loan.  I told him that I only dealt with three companys and had for years.  I asked to speak to one of the attornys but he said no

Called back and was transfered to Mike.  Told him if I was being sued I would have been served with papers or at least a collection letter.  Asked to be sent proof of debt and told him that they havent arrested someone for debt in 200 years in this country. I said that I was pretty sure that this was a scam and would report this to the attorney generals in MD and TX.  He hung up on me without saying a word.

Anderson Law Firm

AUTHOR: anonymous - ()

POSTED: Thursday, January 23, 2014

I recieved several calls from this Law Firm and they even tried to contact me at work.  I finally called the number they provided only to be completely freeked out.

The contact name left at my work place was Derek Smith when i called the number i spoke with a Tom Cooper who told me that i was being sued for non payment on a payday loan.  He proceeded to tell me if i didn't send the $568.93 that was owed the police would be at my job to arrest me.

Luckily i do have payday loans but i checked with the company that i have them with and confirmed that they were all in good standing and was not being sued by any of them.  This happened today 1/23/2014, i have been researching the law firm online when i came across this site.

I wanted to make sure i added my situation here so that this does not happen to anyone i almost sent them the money becuase i was threatened that i was going to be arrested at my job tomorrow morning.  I was skeptical because they would not send me anything in writing which is why i started to make all my phone calls and search the web to find out about Anderson Law Firm.
