Animal Care Centers Continual deceptions and non caring. Fairfield Ohio

I am reporting to save other pet owners grief. First off, do not buy into the Wellness program for your pet. It is a rip off. There are always hidden costs. There are no real savings or quality pet care. On the day I took my pup out for pre spay tests, I experienced a young man who works in the back leaving the facility the same time as I. I was in front of him. When we left the light the young man sped past me almost causing a wreck due to inproper lane switching. He then flipped me off as he went by. I guess his time was more important than mine. On the day of spay, my pup was set for early morning spay. I called and was told she wasn't in yet. When I picked her up around 5:00 PM she was still groggy. She had too much anethesia. She couldn't work it out of her system. When I first called in I was assured this was normal. (non eating or drinking and continual vomiting). 

After several days of forcing water through a dropper, the vet service said if I was that concerned then take her somewhere else. What? No responsibility there.. No ownership of actions. I took her in the next day and a vet gave her fluid under the skin. The fluid leaked out before placed in the car. The vet giggled and said that happens sometimes and she probably has enough to work. I since learned the proper way of making sure the fluid stays. That vet didn't know how to do it right. (not my normal vet). I then had to take her back in for an iv. Of course I was charged for the extra work on my pup. My main concern is that she is not well. She is not going to live a quality life. The reason I say don't bother with the Wellness plan is that it won't cover pain meds after surgery. There is one desk jockey there that never tells the truth about anything.

If you ask if that is all it costs.. the cost is always more. She is not a truthful person. When I signed up for the plan I specifically asked if the plan covers everything when she said it covers spaying. I asked if it covered all meds.. she said yes and was her rude self. After spaying I find out you pay extra if you don't want your pup to be in pain after surgery. What a joke on the owner. Of course you pay more so your pet isn't hurting. I think the whole affair was mishandled. Between rude employees, Lies and not wanting to take actian after the surgery with complications.. they are a rip off all the way around. The facility will scream that they are voted the best... well.. any company can be the best when you have family and friends voting, pets or not.

I saw the ballot.. it is a joke. People just select to get through the mess. Also.. I witnessed an employee dragging a dog instead of coaxing.. acted like she was being put out by a dog that was scared. That is some show of care isn't it. It is all about the machine. Feeding the Mosoleum. Why would any vet need a facility with 20 foot high ceilings anyway. What a wast of space. So instead of caring more about the animal it is more about the money. They need to get rid of a few sitting around the desks if they need more money. Less overhead. Do your homework. The shots for dogs etc can be purchased online for 1/10th the cost the vet charges. Heartguard, Advantage.. there are more cooperative vets that may just be more competent in caring about the animal.
