MWP provided transcripts to ANP Transcriptions throughout the months of March and April 2008 for one of their clients. These transcripts were delivered in a timely fashion and of superior quality. The invoices were submitted and we were told they were processed for payment.

ANP Transcriptions was upset when MWP was unable to take on corporate earnings work at the last minute due to a life threatening illness in the family of one of the corporate entities.

ANP has not paid these invoices for March 2008 and April 2008. The contract signed by the two partioes provided for payment by the third week following the end of the billing period.

MWP was then told they would not be paid unless they signed a revised contract, which they did in order to receive payment. Payment still was not forthcoming.

These two invoices total more than $2500.00. MWP paid their transcribers for the work they did on these transcrips, but as of May 24, 2008 has not received payment from ANP Transcriptions.

ANP transcriptions is not responding to emails and MWP is only able to get voice mail when they call. Previously, one of the entites of ANP Transcriptions did call but was verbally abusive calling them liars and refusing to pay.

Update

AUTHOR: Anonymous - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, December 07, 2011

As of 12/1/2011complete payment has not been received.  ANP signed an agreement to pay what was owed to MWP in 5 installments.  They only paid the first two installments and not the last three.   This money is still owed to MWP per the agreement.

Payment Not Received

AUTHOR: Anonymous - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, June 12, 2011

Although an agreement was signed by ANP's Albert Suied, as President, agreeing to make five payments, four in the amount of $550.00 and one in the amount of $547.00, they only sent the first two payments and the last three remain unpaid. They have not fully complied with the agreement.

We did seek legal assistance.  An representative of ANP signed an agreement to pay us in five (5) installments. They sent two of the five payments and we never heard from them again and to this date have not been paid the last three payments.

Update 9-5-08

AUTHOR: Anonymous - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, September 07, 2008

Five months later and ANP has still not paid their invoices to us for the months of March and April 2008. We are consulting legal advice at this time. Even if it costs us what we are owed it is important that companies like this realize they cannot get away with not paying just because they are in another state and it is expensive to pursue payment through legal channels. It is just not right.

Update as of 6-19-08

AUTHOR: Anonymous - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, June 19, 2008

An email was sent to the company that ANP transcriptions was referring to saying we were attempting to steal the work for ourselves and cut them out so to speak.

We asked them (quoted in part from our email sent to them): "The purpose of this email is to see if you would mind sending me back verification that we did not attempt to get you to stop doing business with ANP and convert the work you would have given them to us. Again, it was always our understanding that companies like yours took on many vendors at earnings not just one."

They responded promptly and said the following - (quoted in part from email received. )

Thank you for your email and please don't consider it a bother at all. I am sorry to hear that there is a complicated situation going on and hope that is resolved quickly (for the sake of all involved).

To answer your question, I am happy to confirm that the contact you made with me directly is only as you stated below and nothing further. I will also contact *** to receive her feedback on the situation as well.

I will also confirm that ****** works with multiple vendors in order to provide our transcripts. We do our best, however, to respect any overlap with sub-contractors. That being said, situations like this do occur on occasion since there are so many different company's/sub-contractors working in the field and people are not always made aware of whose working for who.

In these situations, our approach is to address the situation openly and give people the initial benefit of the doubt... as it most often happens due to an oversight, miscommunication, and/or timing situation. I've rarely (if ever) found that anyone was maliciously attempting to steal business from another vendor.
Wishing you much luck in resolving this situation.

This email was forwarded to ANP Transcriptions to back our claim that we did not attempt to "steal" this client from them. They did not respond to us nor have they paid the $2600.00 they owe us for March and April 2008. More than this we cannot do.

We will update this site if and when the money is paid to us.

ANP Not Truthful in their Rebuttal

AUTHOR: Anonymous - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, June 05, 2008

First of all, the work was done, accepted and the invoices processed. If ANP has any disputes with us, it is a different issue and should have nothing to do with not paying us for work completed.

We did not email their client saying we would like to handle the workload directly. We contact many companies that outsource transcription work. This URL was given to us to contact by someone who was working both with our company and with ANP.

At the time we contacted them, we didn't realize it was their client. In retrospect we should have, but we didn't. I personally was operating from a hospital room, at the time, where my husband had undergone life threatening surgery and they were aware of this.

The minute ANP notified us they were a client of theirs, all communication between us and that client stopped. We did not test for them or sign a contract or accept work from them. However, that particular company mass hires outsourcers every earnings season, as do many of the major companies.

As far as that goes, there is nothing in the contacts we signed with ANP in 2006 or 2007 that prohibits communicating with any business whether clients of theirs or not.

While we were waiting for our money, we received an email from ANP saying we had to sign a new contract before we would be paid for the month of March. In order to be paid we signed that contact on April 15th, several weeks AFTER this incident they are referring to and faxed and sent it to them via certified mail.

Larry Perrone and Al Suied are using this alleged event as an excuse to avoid payment of approximately $2600.00 in fees due us for the work we performed. In the two years that we worked with ANP, to the best of our knowledge, we only worked on one account and we never took any work from that account directly, only through ANP.

It is possible we did something during that time span on another account thurough ANP, but if we did, we don't remember it and it would have been minimal. So their reefernce to an internal investigation is bogus.

In respose to their excuses for non-payment, we sent them a list of all clients who sent payments to us in the past two years and none of them were their clients. Again, they still have not paid the money they owe us.

In addition, recently one of their people told us of a new Intranet site that was just put up by ANP and that they were going to be doing forums. We went there out of curosity to see it.

To get into it you would have to have a user name and password, so of course we did not enter the site - just looked at what was there that did not require a log on. It is nicely done. I thought to try once more to be nice and sent an email to Al saying the site was nice and his new forum ideas were great.

The following Monday I got a phone call from Al asking who told us about the new site and the forums. I did not wish to say. He said to me and I quote, "If you will tell me who told you, I will FedEx today all the money owed to you by ANP."

I decided not to as the person was a current independent contractor for both ANP and us, and I did not want her to become the recipient of his anger and maybe not get paid. We hung up.

The crux of the matter is, we were to handle this new corporate client for them. We had to cancel at the last minute due to the life threatening surgery on my husband.

ANP was aware that I, personally, had been operating out of hospitals for the past several months and all of this was beyond my control. We did go ahead and pay our people for all the work that was done in March and in April.

ANP continued to use our services through April 21st, several weeks after this event they were referring to.

If and when we are paid by ANP, we will file an update and let everyone know that we have been paid.

Truthful side of the story

AUTHOR: Larry - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, June 02, 2008

As an officer of ANP, I thought it would be best to reply to Ms M---'s allegations and false statements. While it is true that ANP has not paid Ms. M---, she fails to mention the true reason why. It was made quite clear to Ms. M---, after she was caught violating her contract and soliciting ANP's clients, that payment would be delayed.

Text parsed directly from an email, and by Ms. M---'s own admission, she clearly solicited work from an ANP account that she was to be part of producing transcripts for. A sample was provided for Ms. M--- on April 3, 2008 to confirm she would be able to replicate the document and handle the type of work to be provided. The document accidentally contained ANP's client's information at the closing. The very next day, Ms. M--- emailed the client suggesting she handle the workload directly. Thus violating her agreement with ANP.

After it was made clear to ANP that Ms. M--- was looking to circumvent ANP completely and attempt to take work for herself, ANP terminated its 2-year relationship with Ms. M---- immediately. ANP cannot exist if put into such unethical situations. Again, once caught, it was then explained to Ms. M--- that any payment owed would be held until a thorough investigation was completed internally on all accounts Ms. M---- worked on, to ensure no more thievery has occurred. At this time the investigation is still under review. Until the investigation is complete no payment will be processed for Ms. M----.

In summary, ANP would like to mention we work closely with over 50 virtual contractors. All relationships are beyond satisfactory on both sides. All legitimate contractors of ANP are always paid within the agreed upon terms of payment. You may also notice, this is the only negative comment about ANP posted to this board since its inceptions 5-years ago.
Thank you for taking the time to read this reply. It will be ANP's final statement regarding this matter. If you are interested in a position at ANP please email careers@anptranscriptions.com.
