First of all, I don't work for any car dealership. Never have worked for one either, but I have owned cars for more than 35 years. The way it works is this:  when you buy a vehicle you are responsible for the care and maintenance of the vehicle at your expense.

When you or I or anyone else purchases a used vehicle, it is almost always as AS IS purchase. The best way to check to see if your purchase was AS IS is to read the contract you signed at the time of purchase. It will say right in the contract what the warranty term is for your vehicle, if any.

If you want a warranty, then buy a warranty. If you have a warranty from the dealership, check the warranty paperwork to see if this repair is a covered item under the warranty you purchased. If not, it is your responsiblity to fix it at your expense.

Why would you ask the car dealership to pay for the repair of your car? Why would you just park the car and not fix it? That is the worst of all the solutions available to you because you have the expense and not the use of the vehicle.

If you park the car then it is clear you don't need a vehicle for everyday use. So repair it and sell it so you get rid of the monthly payment. It is a far worse solution to continue to make payments every month for five years and not repair it than it is to make the one time repair and then sell it to eliminate the five year expense.

I think you need to examine your need for a vehicle and examine your expectations for vehicle maintenance.
