Worst place to work ever! Run the other way, management team is unfair, unethical, and rude.

APAC is cheating their Direct Energy Client out of thousands of dollars. Supervisors regularly bill non production minutes/hours as productive, so the client pays for APAC's system downtime. Supervisors not willing to follow this practice are summarily dismissed. There is constant pressure to continue working and reworking the reports until 99% of the hours are shown as productive. When in actuality, it is around 70%. If you are not skilled at the art of maneuvering and scamming you will find yourself being disciplined for it. It is considered an inability to report accurately, when in truth, the only thing you have done wrong is not lie.

The client, Direct Energy, is even being cheated by their own team, they send a couple of their own out to visit the site on a regular basis, but when the girl they send has an ongoing romantic/sexual relationship with one of the supervisors/managers running the Direct Energy Scam, it's a great way to ensure it continues. She basically garunteed this supervisor was promoted to manager, because she was sleeping with him and basically stated that if He didn't get the position, the "Client" would not be happy.

Management staff can easily be heard talking about drug use, and can even be seen at work under the influence. It's amazing what the select few that are part of the in-crowd are able to get away with.

The senior manager, we will call her J, is rude and s****.>

If they want to get rid of you, they simply make and have other employees make false statements and build an HR case, in order to have you termed with no recourse. The statements they come up with are so random and utterly untrue. When you try to go to the top guy, he's very nice, but basically ineffective, and will tell you not to go over your managers head, and to just take your complaint to her. It's difficult to do this when she is the one running the scam and the biggest culprit of the wrongs being done. If you complain, you will find out what it means to speak up, you will soon find yourself being accused of many false things by the HR department.

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

This is the facts of APAC in Tucson and Phoenix

AUTHOR: Logansmommy - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, April 08, 2014

After being hired as a permanent part time employee in the work from home project for their best buy company we were told we had to purchase newer eensive computers to work their, we had to pay for the highest internet service because they were having server issues. After having very poor training and a lot of unpaid wages to this date this company did a mass voice recording message to some of the employees stating today was their last day of work followed by an email. I, myself, got an email a week later giving me a two day notice but I was only scheduled one of those day. The email stated thanks for being a seasonal employee and to look for upcoming employment offers.

They even held out Christmas bonus until they terminated everyone  at the end of January and then turned around and took all or most of it back stating they can tax 25% on final checks. I am now left unemployed and cannot receive benefits because they termed everyone after 90 day but had cut hours prior so we would not be eligible for benefits. I have a child with special needs. I'm left with a large computer payment, a 900 dollar fee for Internet and phone bill which will come down after I return the boxes but only to Lmost 600. If this wasn't enough they called and offered me a job with their express scripts authorization project and begged me to start sooner than the date I had chose.

I agreed. I ended up turning down two permanent full time jobs that were work from home thinking I was going to be starting this job in a week. Guess what! I got an email  the night before  at 1030 stating i was no longer eligible because of my criminal background, which I know there is nothing on there. I  emailed back right away and she stated she would over night me a copy. Guess what to this day I have never received It. I contacted several attorneys to file a class action lawsuit as I am not the only one they did this too. I was turned down. I really think someone needs to help all of us in getting justice. They should at least pay my phone and internet contract and computer I bought solely for their company and supposive needs. Thanks for reading.
