     Dave Newhart is a professional in every sense of the word. To give credence to someone who signs as anonymous is ludicrous.  If you are considering using Mr. Newhart as a builder, may I suggest asking for references from those he has done work for.  I'm confident you will hear that he is fair, trustworthy, timely, and an excellent craftsman.

     He has done work for my family and I have only praise for him and his work.

Parties at the house...fiances' house...sounds like Dave Newhardt to me -- or one of his close buddies who sends business his way.

Less than 5 months to complete an addition? A good contractor would probably have finished it in 3 months.

Obviously this "Brielle Boy" is definitely a fake/fraud and is connected to either being a contractor himself or just being a very nasty individual.  Dave Newhardt who is the owner, is one of the nicest guys that I have had the privilege in meeting.  Dave has changed my fiances' house from a little 3 BDRM Ranch 1-1/2 bath to a 6BDRM 5 bath house. 
 
She has 3 kids, needed to live in the house while the construction was taking place.  He out of his own pocket rented a portable storage container for all her furniture and belongings moved it himself and crew.  Also purchased 40 plastic container boxes as well, and never wanted money back for it.  Dave would do this for anyone that he builds for!!!!!!
 
It took him less than 5 months to complete the 1800 sq ft addition up stairs.  If anyone wants to come and see I will be more than happy to show him or her.  Dave Newhardt when coming to your home, sits down and listens, makes intelligent suggestions to better fit your situation.  He really cares about YOU ultimately being happy with the end result.  He has an impressive portfolio with vast resume and 30 page customer brief that you make the calls and visit their home to see all the materials being utilizes.

Everyone knows you can't always be bothered reporting a terrible company's poor workmanship to the BBB. But I can warn other potential customers of this terrible company about how poor their workmanship is. You want to know who I am fekry? I am an actual unsatisfied customer of Applehardt. Who are you fekry? His brother-in-law?

the Brielleboy is obviously a false person. everybody knows in the real world all legitament complaints go to the better bussiness bureau to which you must place your name, address, and complaint to the person in question. applehardth building ent. is a double a rated company. its a real shame that false bloggers cant be prosecuted. brielleboy man up who are you. all the applehardth customers would love to know who you are.

Okay, you want specifics? I'll give you some. However, there are too many examples of a bad job to list them all here.
Tile: Many cracked tiles; tile not pitched to drain, therefore puddles; grouting cracking --
Granite: 2 pieces not pitched toward drain, therefore leaks into room --
Carpentry: Doors stick to door frame; poor quality door-pull and poorly installed
Electrical: 2 installations aren't correct fopr their application; a three-way switch suddenly stopped working, poor installation; insufficient lighting and layout, room is too dark
Heat & AC: Room is freezing in the winter, poor design and installation.
Is that enough for ya?
You good folks with the positive reviews must have just completed your work so you haven't had a chance for all the poor workmanship to show up yet. Either that or your close relatives.

Applehardt did a fantastic job at my house. The house was completly changed and its a million times better. The workmnanship, attitude and honesty i experenced with appleheardt I have never witnessed before.
I simply disagree with the bad reviews because when we were researching background for applehardt we could not find anything negative espicially BBB gave them the best rating.
I would like to see more specifics on the bad comments tiles, carpentary, .... is just general topics and not specifics. Specifics are making 3 small windows in my first floor as a nice surprice while we were at work and coming back to find the windows, walls and paint all done.  
Another exapmple, kitchen overhall in one day capinets appliances thewhole deal.
If you want timely and proffesionally work done at your house you cant go wrong with appleheardt building.

I am shocked to find out that people have had bad experiences with Applehardt building. Dave was referred to me by a family member who had nothing but good things to say about the work that was done to their home. Dave has done some great work and didnt drag out the job which is the main reason I was impressed with the renovations. I cant say a bad word about a crew that has worked long hours and got the job done very professionally. I dont agree with the previous report bashing the quality of the plumming, tiles, and carpentary.

I totally agree with the first poster and totally DISagree with the rebuttal. Applehardt did work on my house also.
Dave, the owner, is one of the most ingenuine people I have ever met. He makes fake promises to get the job and then doesn't keep them. His price seems fair but it's only because their workmanship is horrible.

Since the previous poster puts no specifics of the issues, I assume it's from a family member or close friend. You want specifics? Here are specifics - their carpentry is horrible - their flooring, tile and granite installation is unbelievably bad - their job planning is horrible - their painting is amateurish - their plumbing is terrible and their design taste is deplorable. I regret giving them my hard-earned money to this day. Don't give them yours.

If you want quality work done for a fair price by friendly courteous people, I would highly recommend you work with another construction company - and NOT Applehardt construction.

I worked with Applehardt having work done on my house.  Dave, the owner, is one of the most genuine people I have ever met.  His price was very fair and the work done was excellent.  Since the previous poster puts no specifics of the issues they had I have trouble believing them.

If you want quality work done for a fair price by friendly courteous people I would highly recommend working with Applehardt construction.
