Aqua-Care USA High Plains Construction Handicap bathroom installation, had no state plumbing, electrical, and mechainal licesnse Grimes, Iowa

My parents hired Aqua-care USA to install a handicap shower for my mom due to her health. When they came they took advantage of my parents by doing shotty work and craftmanship. They did not follow state plumbing, electrical, and mechanical codes, and none of their workers are state licensed to do any work.

They did not install proper plumbing for the drain, when they installed the instant hot water heater they cut a main support of the house to install heater without installing bracing for the beams they cut. They used scrap pex tubing to run the water lines and didnt use the proper hangers to secure the lines. When they cap the copper lines they used black fittings; which is illegal.

They did not install a gfci on the exhaust/light vent which is within 6" of the shower. They also didnt properly vented the exhaust fan and just dumped it in the aticc ceiling. They damaged the oak staircase and ceiling while they were doing their work. They refused to fix anything right and claimed that they dont need to be ceritfied to do the work.

They did not have a building permit to do said work, very rude and aragont in their converstaions with me and my parents. The owners themselves said to me and my parents that they do not hire anybody that is license because it would cost the people more money to have it done right.

They also operated under the name High Plains Constructions.
