In April 2009, my spouse and I purchased a GE Pro Elite water softening system from Texas Aquafuzion via door to door salesperson named Wendy McPhee. The system was installed using illegal plumbing methods and workmanship of an elementary school youth.  Installers, Mike, Fred, and Alex Cruz completed the setup and briefly explainedinstructions to my wife and I.  After a few months of use the system began to falter. Asleep in our home around 3 am we felt a vibration that literally shook our entire home. 

The event prompted an immediate call to our technicians, which they in turn down graded the incident as a simple air pocket that would reduce as time went on.  Unfortunately, it was not the last time.  After the second and third episode of "bubbles" my wife contacted the retailer.  They were unavailable.  So "unavailable" that they no longer held offices, sales associates, or contact channels.  The situation became worse as my wife's research turned up information and listings on the internet concerning the company as a scam.  We discovered losses in the thousands to consumers in our city of San Antonio alone.  It has taken almost 3 years to connect the pieces and locate the retailers to service our system.  However, three days ago we located the business. 

Now working under the title of Green Water Technologies, we managed to make contact and schedule a visit.  Aware of their responsibilities to its previous consumers, GWT have not arrived as agreed.  This week alone has been more hassle than the last three years combined.  Please be cautious of who you do business with. Our advice is to monitor referral sites, similar businesses in your area to obtain a competitive point of view, and public information such as county records, lawsuits, and BBB's offices.
