ara inc. mark farmer ext. 3402 ARA has recently obtained and is now legal owner of your citibank universal card villa park, Illinois

i received a letter from ara inc stating all obligations regauding this debt have been fully transferred to this office. as of today,you owe $5216.01, which is now due in full.  

they say my financial and credit history are currently being reviewed to determine there next course of action. should this debt go unpaid our intention is to seek whatever remedies are available. they want me to send them a check for the full amount in the self addressed envelope provided.

i called citi bank fraud dept with the account number and they said the first four numbers sounded like an account but there was no such account. they asked me to mail the letter to their fraud dept and i did.
