I honestly don't know how these people sleep at night. I know I couldn't after treating people the way they do. They literally make peoples lives hell. And what makes me laugh, is that these people ACTUALLY WANT YOU TO PAY THEM! I know personally, if I want money from someone, I have to be sweet as pie. But they seem to think the opposite.

I have been harrased by them for years. Not to the extent that some other people on here have, but that's only because I think one step ahead of them and never give them information that could work against me. (Like my work number etc.) I just actually got off the phone with one of the so called "collectors" in Regina. I have not spoken to them in about a year and a half because I had changed my phone number, and that's how long it took for them to find it. Previously when I was dealing with them, they told me that if I were to pay exactly half of my debt in cash by the end of the month, then my debt would be clear and settled. As much as I wanted to, I just did not have that kind of money kicking around. But now I do, so I spoke to her, (kindly might I add) and she full out lied to me saying that she would have to collect ALL of my personal information (all of my banking information, if I had a mortgage, kids, cars, working, how much I made and the list goes on and on) in order to give me a settlement.  All of that information is personal and quite frankly, I don't think it has anything to do with me having cash at that particular moment ready to wire transfer over to settle. What more do you need?! Even if it was relevant information, I asked her "Well, if I have already been offered a settlement in the past without even asking for it or giving any information, why do I have to give you all of this information now? It obviously had nothing to do with it then. So why now?" She danced around the subject nonetheless. So no matter what people, DO NOT give them ANY personal information that they don't have. They will only use it against you. They have got to be the most ignorant people I have ever encountered in my life. I can't deal with these people. You can't even speak a normal tone with them. They have the most disgusting attitude, they don't even let you speak, they yell at you, they threaten you, they harrass you. Somebody SERIOUSLY has to do something about them. That is what you call ABUSE! I don't know how or why they are still in business. Somebody really needs to step in. There is NO WAY that a business is allowed to operate like that in this country, no matter what field it is in. I also figured out why their "local" office doesn't contact you. Instead, it's one accross the country. I know that I have one 20 minutes away in Toronto, but instead, Regina and Vancouver call me, cause they know that if the Toronto office were to be dealing with me or anyone in that matter would march right down to that office and deal with it face to face and see if they are still that brave and mouthy in person. I'm sure that I am not the only person that figured this one out.

Bottom line people, just remember, they're coming to YOU for YOUR money. Don't let them tell you what to do or scare you into doing things that you are not comfortable with, cause believe me, they are a bunch of liars, and prey on people that scare easily. As for me, they can keep trying as much as they want. And I am not budging until they get their act together. If not, they can take another year and a half to find me, and then another year and a half after that I don't care. My credit is already scarred enough as it is with them. So I have no problems waiting.
