Cheryl Showah, dba ASA Farm, residing in Connecticut, has continually delayed and or ignored requests for payment on her outstanding bills. They have been accumulating since spring 2010. Small amounts were paid in 2011, with the last payment made in the fall of that year. During 2013, she paid $565.00 for a bill from the breeding facility that she had owed for 3 years only because she wanted to register one of the three foals she had by my stallion. The first foal born in 2009, was registered previously before she owed money. The last of the three foals is still unregistered at this point and shall remain so until all her debts to myself, the boarding facility, and the vet bill (all for her horses that were in Colorado) are paid in full. Her mare and filly (foal #2) left Colorado in January 2011. Every few months I contact her and I always get excuses as to why she isn't paying the bills off. Or, she just ignores my request for payment altogether. I would advise people to be very careful when dealing with this woman.
