Asford is a for-profit school, which means that is all that they care about. they have no interest in you getting an education. My husband decided to go there because he is in the military and wanted to start an education and it seem okay for him to go since the military suggested it to him. He filled out his TA, and his fafsa. They both got accepted, thinking he was gonna get some money back from fafsa to buy a laptop and operating systems for his classes he was excited. Until he got an email that all the money from both the TA and Fafsa went to the school and he will not see a penny from either. When he called they said they paid off all his classes for the next YEAR! Which we were floored about because that wasn't what they told him at Ashford. They assured him he would money to buy the things he needs for school. Now he has classes paid for and no way to access the classes. and you would think they cared, but they don't. Don't go here, save your fafsa and whatever loans and go somewhere else.
