Ashley Furniture POOR quality furniture, no option for repair or replacement, not covered under protection plan we paid for! Evansville Indiana

We purchased a full sectional & recliner from Ashley Furniture in 2009. We recently noticed that the "leather" is cracking & peeling. I submitted a claim to the "Montage Product Protection Plan" that we paid an additional $150 for and they denied the claim, stating that it is the manufacturer's responsibility (aka. Ashley Furniture). What a RIP OFF!

Ashley Furniture refuses to repair or replace, stating that the furniture is out of warranty. Yes, the furniture is out of warranty... but the company should be making a quality product that will last longer than 4 years! When I spend $2,000 on furniture, I expect it to last longer than that. They are unwilling to do anything about it. What a RIP OFF!

Now, I'm stuck with crappy furniture that looks terrible and my only options are to continue to use it or pay full price out of my pocket to replace it. What a RIP OFF!

Do not purchase furniture from Ashley Furniture unless you want to pay good money for a bad product. Lesson learned, Ashley. Lesson learned.
