on or around 07/12/2012, i took some jewelry and pawned it to associated pawn brookers,went and paid the fiance charges every month to renew the due date so i could repurchase my jewelry on 3/3/2012 i took the full amount of $120.00 dollars in and gave it to bill the employee he went in the back to look for it then came back and proceeded to tell me that it had been stolen by an employee who had been fired a couple of weeks ago for theft and my jewelry would be added to the charges i wanted to know where that left me and they just shurgged me off and said ther was nothing i could do told me to come back in on monday. I told them if my jewelry had not been found by monday that i was going to the harford county sheriffs dept, thats when bills grandmother spoke up and said why you sold us the jewelry,and i said i did not sell you my jewelry i pawned it to you there is a big difference between selling and pawning so i tried to work with bill all the way through 3/8/2012 no results and on 3/9/2012 i filled a civil law suit i also went to the harford county sheriffs dept and try to get a case number on the theft case they were suppose to report they went back through their records to3/1/2012 and could not find any reports that the pawn shop reported of employee theft.
