Associated Recovery Systems RUDE, ABUSIVE, & TOTALLY INCORRECT. And also very threatening. Escondido California

We received a letter, and several VERY abusive and threatening phone calls from this company ARS. They want a payment in full within 10days, or are threatening Court, they supposedly have the authority to collect an undue amount from Sears, for $1366.00. Well, we have not used our Sears account for at least 8-10 years, and it never was any where near an amount over $300.00, never mind $1300.00!!

I moved out of state about 8 years ago, the account was left to be paid off when the final bill came in, which we never received. Over the months, I assume we just forget, no billing was EVER sent to us, for if it was, we would have paid it. Now, these guys want $1300.00?? And they offer no account of the charges, or amounts??
