Associates Home Equity Fairbanks Capitol Corporation Unfair Practices, Unreported notes paid in full, Destoyed my BackGround Check Coppell , Texas

My mortgage was sold several times from 1995 to 2002. This was for my primary home which later  became an investment property that I tried to sell. During the time that it was rented, I had to evict several tennants due to non payment and fell behind on my mortgage.

I talked with the company that said they serviced the note at that time which was either Ford, Fairbanks or Associates. Again it was sold so many times that I could not keep up.

I had arrangements for payments and sent them via wire to try to catch up and at the same time was trying to sell the property. I was told via phone that I could sell short or that I could do a deed in leu of to try to settle with the company. Upon providing a buyer, I was refused the sale and they proceeded with a foreclosure. That was in the year 2000. Then in 2002 this company filed a default judgement against me for the balance as the mortgage company bought the house back and then sold it on their own.

My local bank that holds my current mortgage on the house I now own and live in contacted Fairbanks/Associates/Ford in 2004 and offered them a settlement to release the lein against me at our courthouse and they agreed and were paid through the HUD/Settlement on the refinance.

Fairbanks/Associates/Ford to this day still has not released the lein and it is still showing as unpaid. This is on my credit report and my background check and keeping me from pursuing a new career. I have tried to track down the company(s) and have been told that they either are no longer in business, or they have no record of my existance.

I need this rectified and if there is a way to sue them or the company that may have bought them out for my pain and suffering then I want to do it!

I am so fed up with unfair/fraudulant lending that I can say I understand why people go "off the deap end" and take action into their own hands...

Can anyone out there help me? Can I help you pursue these companies that have robbed the general public of not only our money, but our pride and dignity?
