Their tactics for success are to manipulate the consumer with excitement.
Thats why if you notice the person on the phone sounds so upbeat as well as extremely over excited. Now the goal with trying to get the person on the phone so excited and moving so fast with the call and all the details of everything to where they aren't thinking rationally or logically and in most circumstances due to the language barrier not even understanding whats going on. They the person that was all excited and acted like they had the i.q of a rock to give you the details of your trip then to pass you on to what they call a "Travel Coordinator". LMFAO That is far from what their job duties are, they are solely responsible for "Closing". That means to get you to give them the credit card details and they then charge your account for the $998 U.S which will be removed from your account that evening. Now this is where if you want to mess with them, give them the card information let them go ahead and do the charge authorization which means they have just confirmed that the card provided will allow them to take that balance later. They then have to send you to a Verification Department to get you agreeing to the charge and for what you will be getting. Now if you hang up before you are on recording they can't get you to legally authorize the charge. There for it turns into what is called a Cancel in Verification and no Money is taken.
Now whats even funnier is that their tactics for hiring employees is to hire ex-junkies, ex-felons, as their primary focus due the turn over rate is pretty high in telemarketing as well as that these are the most likely person to lie for you on the phone and make your company money as well as when that person quits they can take their last 2 paychecks and make them $0.00 and most likely they won't take legal action. They have even mailed out check to employees who have worked 36 hours for the work week for $0.00.
Now if you fall victim to this manipulation immediately do the following;
-Call your Debit or Credit Card Company Immediately DON'T Procrastinate! Have them re-tract the transaction. AKA: Charge Back
*Now if this happens enough Larry the owner of ASTAR Inc will lose his Merchant Account because you must keep "Charge Backs" under a certain percentage to keep that Merchant Account for accepting payments with the major Debit and Credit Card Companies.*
