the big cellphone co. scam! do not get a family plan w/att wireless. i stupidly did that two yrs ago. sighned the required two yr contract. when my two yrs was up, i cancelled out my service. i went with a no contract co. and pre pd that one every month. thought every thing was fine. loved the new NO CONTRACT co. well, lo and behold , i get a bill from att saying i owed 154.00. they said when i cancelled my family plan that only cancelled the mother # and not the other # that was on the plan. no one bothered to let me in on the requirements of a cancellation. i thought when you call to cancell your service, thats what they would do. they need to make it clear to people. oh and the # they didn't cancell had not been used in over a year, but they HAD to keep it active, because i did not tell them to stop service on both #s. i stupidly thought the so called family plan included every # in it for any changes in the plan. bottom line, the family plan is NOT a family plan, but an individual plan. I'm so confused!!!
