An AT&T sales rep came to our house. She had paperwork, and offered great deals on internet, cable, and phone. We were told by her there was no contract, if the services were not what we liked we could always switch back to our current provider. Well, we thought since there was no contract, it can't hurt to try. We did, we switched and the service was awful. It froze, and was slow.
So we switched back. After that when we called to cancel, the guy says you know you have a contract right? There is a 150 dollar fee. I said no, we signed we had no contract. He says they emailed the terms, and everyone has a contract. We can't expect such a good deal for no contract. He doesn't know what the door to door people claimed, but we have a contract. Now we have to pay, or get a ding on our credit report. Horrible businness practices....
