att&t highspeed internet $14.95 a month, no phone service required turns into $47.95 a month for bellsouth that i never agreed to. Another $57.00 for a telephone line i already had running,$23.20 for my probated month and $12.95 just cause they can.No mistakes i made it perfectly clear there would be no hidden charges.I agreed to the $5.00 extra for not wanting bellsouth and added another $5.00 for the 6mbps "lightening speed".The $24.95 a month i agreed to, turns into $47.95 plus all the slop they could throw in.I'm a businessman,they would put me in prison for pulling the crap att&t and bellsouth are pulling right now.

I would be more than happy to explain your charges to you and your bill all in one sentence. I don't even see the charges and i know EXACTLY what they are. The 14.95 advertised for "no phone service" means, You don't need phone service. It may be a pitch to get you to call in, but what smart business doesn't have things like that to hook you in. The 14.95 internet, is for the slowest speed of internet and it is for customers who have an affilliate, i.e. uverse, directv, home phone, or cell phone. The 12.95 just because they can, is a system produced charge for the wiring and cables that you did in fact recieve in the mail, and im quite sure on your bill it's labled BYOM Kit? That is the wires and cables you got . Att is not a scam, it's just a company charging to get theres just like any other company. Change your provider, see if you're happy then.
