same thing as everyone else! i just came back from one of there auctions and this is my story. to start there were only 5 people there, i dont know if thats unusual or not. but you will go and and they talk it up, and then give you 5 seconds to bid. they will have a "certificate of appraisal" and then will spout out a number that its worth. they will then start off really high making you think its valuable, and then drop the bid to around 50 bucks, it seems like watches are a big and easy scam for them. then if you do bid on it and win it, they will put it aside until the auction is done. some of the people dont even speak english so he told me the bid was 10 so i bid, but it was actually 110! also i bought a tennis bracelet worth "410" guess what, i could buy the same thing from a grocery store by putting a loonie in the machine and turn it. i feel bad for my friend who spent 500$ on 8 watches, which turned out to all be made in china, and are virtually worthless. there stuff looks really expensive, but don't let that fool you, its not hard for them to make "expensive" stuff. stay clear of these events!
