This place is a complete rip off! I bout a BMW from them for 8000 dollars, later the day that I bought the car reverse quit working. I took it to a local transmission shop who informed me that the previous week that austins had the car I there and they were informed that there was an intrenal issue in the transmission and had to push the car out of there bay because of reverse not working. When I went back and confronted them the lot manager Jeremy became enraged with me and tools me to shove the car up my a*s and sue him! When my husband arrives there upset with the way they were talking to me they called the police. Needless to say I rave had the car for 5 days and its in the tranny shop getting an3000 transmission rebuid. I have files comaints with everyone I can think of and am now waiting on an attorney to take legal action. I of course expected some repairs on a used car but to have them withold such a major mechanical issue is wrong! I hope this place loses there license!

Rip off

I did not know this vehicle had a transmission issue it drove fine during the test drive and reverse did work at that time. They actually had it at the transmission shop the day before I bought it and have to have it pushed out of the bay because reverse didnt work at that time. when I brought it to the lot managers attention that they intact sold me a vehicle knowing the tranny was bad he became irate with me yelling telling me to take the car and shove it and to just sue him.

I bought the car on the 13th the lot manager is now saying I bought it on the 10th and that he took it to the shop on the 12th for me so he could fix it!!! That lie #1 I have the paperwork an text messages showing I bought the car intact on the 13th...he also tried telling me he saw that car driving all over town monday, but that would be very hard for it to have been considering it was sitting at their lot from 9am until at least 3:30 that day! thats lie #2. This lot manager does not have any customer service skills whatsoever.

I did just speak with my attorney and this falls under fraud! I expected some repairs but not to pay 8000 and have the car undriveable! We live in a very small town and word will get around about this shady business transaction! I bought the car as is so it doesn't fall under the lemon law but like I said I wa just informed this morning it is fraud! I didnt try to give the car back I bought it for my daughters 16th birthday and besides the tranny it's a nice car all I was asking the lot manager is that I thought he should at yhe very least help pay for the Rebuilt tranny!

What Does The Warranty Say?

AUTHOR: Jim - ()

POSTED: Thursday, September 19, 2013

You bought this car with the transmission problem.  What does the warranty say?  Or, did you buy it "AS IS"?  If you bought it "AS IS" then you are NOT entitled to free warranty service.  The paperwork you signed, if you read it, would have disclosed this fact to you.  How did the car do during the test drive?  Did you try to drive the car in reverse?  Did you have this "AS IS" car checked over by your own mechanic BEFORE you bought it?

Were Dealing With this Right Now

We have been sitting at the entrance for the past week of this companies Vancouver, Wa location warning all that come in to google this guy personally and to google the business. In the past 7 days we have kept this location down to only screwing over 2 people. If you are on the sidewalk or road and dont prevent people from entering the business then you can say whatever you want to them and even scream to them while they are looking at cars on the lot. Matt Austin the owner got back from Cancun Mexico today and came to the lot and just sat in his office on his fat a*s and just said profane things over the PA system. He aslo stated that he is a multi billionare and dosent care that we are costing him business. Heres what happened to me:

Austins Affordable Autos is the biggest scam out there.
My younger brother that just turned 18 brought my car to this place and they let him trade it in even though the vehicle is not in his name. My grandmother that passed away left me the car last year. I havent put the car in my name either so it was still in my deceased grandmothers name. Well anyway it was a 2001 Honda Civic EX with 41,000 miles on it. The salesman Matt gave my little brother a 1989 Toyota Corolla with 230,000 miles on it and $200.00 cash and would give him another $1300.00 when he brought the title to the car to them. Well he left the lot in his Toyota Corolla and went three blocks down to his friends house to show off his awesome new car and his friend pointed out to him that there was a huge puddle of oil building up under the car, so he brought the car right back to the lot to show them. The lot then told him that they would have the leak fixed and to come back tomorrow 9/11/2013 to pick up the car. Well he came back the next day and picked up the car that he was told was fixed and made it 5 miles down the road and the shifter arm fell off. He managed to shove the shifter down into the hole to be able to shift the car to get it back to the lot where they again agreed to fix the car. This time they gave him a loaner car to drive until the next day when they said that the car would be fixed. Well that same night 36hrs after this original transaction had taken place, I found out about this and brought my little brother, the loaner car, and the $200.00 back to the lot and demanded my car back. They then went on to tell me that the vehicle wasn't there and that it was at the detail shop and that I could have my own car back for $2000.00 because that is how much money that they had already put into it. I told them fine, ill give you the $2000.00 if you show me my car and what you had to do to it. They told me no and to take them to court. They also said that they had to replace the transmission on the Toyota Corolla and that before that car was taken it needed to be paid for as well or else they will be filing mechanics leans on both vehicles. So now my brother traded in a car that wasn't his and got $200 for a 2001 Honda Civic EX with 41,000 miles on it.
I called the police down there and all that they said is that they couldn't do anything because this was a civil matter and I cant even report the car stolen because it was in my deceased grandmothers name.

In the pictures above you will see my brothers punishment until I get my car back.

Please come down between 9am and 8pm and help us teach this place a lesson for taking advantage of people. If you look them up on the Better Business Bureau, they have an "F" rating and have hundreds of other pages on Google with bad reviews for ripping people off.
