This is Dionna Harrell and I want to set this whole story straight. The TRUTH! I have never sold a cat to Hugh Hefner's ex-girlfriend Holly Madison. Give me a break. Do you really think that Holly Madison would be on here posting all this psychotic garbage about my cats! Holly Madison has enough money to hire a Lawyer to come after me if this were true. I have had several adopting families come to my home to either pickup or visit with their new baby. I have nothing to hide and have references to prove it. Feel free to contact me and I can provide you with 'real' references. The person posting all this garbage is really Teresa Aleksandrov out of Ypsilanti Michigan. Here is the real story. I bought a Sphynx off of Cristi Carpenter back about 2008. They (Teresa Aleksandrov and Cristi Carpenter) STOLE Amanda Carpenters Sphynx cats from her. They bred the cats and were selling off all the babies. Amanda Carpenter contacted me as soon as she heard about the selling of the STOLEN kittens. I had already bought the sphynx kitten and my husband was there in Ypsilanti Michigan picking him up. Amanda Carpenter told me they were scamming me and all registration papers were all FAKE. Conveniently the papers were somehow lost from Cristi's house to Teresa's place of business. I contacted my husband and he said Teresa was on the phone yelling and arguing with Amanda about the kittens. My husband was very confused as he was just picking up a kitten that I had purchased. Everything was supposed to be there and ready when he got there. I finally got in touch
with Cristi Carpenter and she said her Aunt Teresa lost all the papers. Cristi said she had copies and would send them out right away. Well 2 more months go by and nothing. Cristi goes as far as to put her Grandmother on the phone and tell me what a liar Amanda Carpenter is. I did not understand this because I did not buy the cat from Amanda Carpenter. I bought the cat from Cristi Carpenter. Teresa got involved because Cristi ran my Credit Card through her Credit Card machine. So when I contacted my credit card company to cancel the transaction because I never received his papers it went back on Teresa Aleksandrov. So this is how Teresa got involved. I had never spoke to Teresa until I took my money back for being scammed out of TICA papers. Teresa filed a claim in her state against me for the full amount. I showed up 3 times to court and it was a 6 hour drive each way. I did not mind it because I don't take getting ripped off lightly as no one would I would think. So after 3 months of arguing in court the Judge made his final decision because of 2 different sets of false papers on the cat. Teresa filed out one set then sent them to me, then Cristi did a set not knowing Teresa filed out a fake set already. This is when I filed the claim with my credit card company. I had to pay $700.00 to Teresa and it was all settled. We guess what. Teresa cannot seem to let it go. Teresa is almost 60 yrs old believe it or not. Cristi Carpenter and Teresa Aleksandrov have threatened to burn down my home with my 3 children in it. They have threatened me with their witch craft. They have continued to harass me to no end. I can only assume they both do not have anything better to do with their lives than think about me and my Sphynx cats/kittens 24/7. I'm just one of those people who got scammed and did't sit back and let it go. So this is what I get but it was worth it. Maybe it will make Teresa Aleksandrov and Cristi Carpenter think twice before ripping off another person again. Teresa has been looking me up everyday on the Internet. She claims she knows my life history. I do work in Hospice and do take care of dying people. She continues to make rude comments about me on Rip Off Report. If you want to contact me feel free to do so. I am not a rude or nasty person and not a very large woman as she claims. I do and will get nasty if you rip me off or try and hurt my family but I think that is how 'most' of us are with the ones we love. Teresa will continue to do this everyday until she can no longer function. This woman really needs people praying for her so she can finally move on. She is a very hateful, angry, jealous, manipulative, self destructive and just plan unhappy person I have ever met! I have met alot of people unhappy people in the medical field and she takes the cake. So don't be afraid to call or email me I will be happy to explain this mess to you. I have never sold a sick sphynx kitten to anyone. I did have one case where I sold a Sphynx kitten to a 19 yr old girl in Texas. Her mother bought the kitten for her. I took the kitten to the vet for a physical and a health certificate to fly. He went out to Texas and died within 10 days of being there. I was in contact with the family the whole time several times a day. I had advised them several times how to take care of the kitten but the girl refused to do so. The girl had him out the very next day going from house to house showing him off. I have a contract for this reason. He was to be quarantined for 72 hrs after she received him. Well 3 days of toting him from house showing him off to her friends and him not eating is what made him sick. I drove to Arkansas ( 10 hour drive one way) to get him to try and save him. I then had to drive another 2 hours farther to find a emergency vet to put him to sleep. He was barely breathing and the blood had started settling in his back from dying. I put him to sleep and brought him home and had him cremated. I did take pictures of him for this reason because Teresa contacted the girl and the story has been twisted to Teresa's liking as usual. The kitten had every test ran possible and the vet found nothing. I have all the paper work and will share it with you if you would like(about 20 pages). I spoke to the girl's mother several times and finally she broke down and told me his bones were showing. He had not been eating at all. He died of starvation. We had him for 5 months and she had him 10 days and he died. I don't know many breeders who would drive 10 hours ONE WAY to try and save one of their kittens. I'm lucky enough to have a husband that stands behind me and what I believe in is right. My husband took the day off work to keep the 2 youngest children while myself and our oldest daughter drove the long drive to Arkansas to get our baby back. I did not end up replacing the kitten due to neglect. I would NOT place another one of my babies in their hands ever again! As for Heff my little boy I bought from Elizabeth Largent in Texas he did die of HCM. He is NOT out of my cattery and did not get HCM from my cats. YOUR CATS CANNOT CATCH HCM Teresa! He is out of Movie Land Floyd Skyshasphynx and is owned by Elizabeth Largent in Texas. I got him at 3 months of age and he died 3 weeks later. I have a handwritten letter as well as typed letter from my Doctor who treats all of my animals. He wrote the letter to Elizabeth Largent if anyone wants to see it you are more than welcome. The Doctor also gave Elizabeth his personal cell phone for her to call him and she never did. Those are the 2 kittens that have died and only one was mine and was out of my control.
So Teresa, when people ask to see your proof, and you don't have any because I wouldn't trust you with a pet rock. And I would NEVER, EVER put one of my precious animals in your hands! Your defense of 'I don't know you and I'm not just going to send over my vet records to someone I don't know' will eventually wear thin. Come up with something better than that - come on. That's why people post on here to provide proof right?
To the people who have adopted from me Thank you for posting on here but be very careful in putting your full name. You may run the risk of having Teresa stalk you next - so beware. The things Teresa is posting on here are really the things SHE has done to me and others. She is a very angry person and I would be very upset if she were to start attacking you and your family
because you came to my defense. So please be very careful when dealing with Teresa Aleksandrov.

I happened to stumble across this posting when looking for Dionna Harrell's website Avasa Sphynx. I purchased a healthy sphynx kitten 7 months ago and was going back for my second one. They say the Sphynx are like potato chips..
" You cannot have just one" This is very true as I'm on my quest for another Sphynx kitten. We were 1st time parents (no children) and were very nervous and afraid we would do something wrong or not be careful enough with our new baby Sphynx. We got our adorable little boy when he was 14 weeks old. He was neutered, all shots, wormed and a huge lover when we got him. We did sign a contract as Dionna said she has everyone do to protect us, her and the new sphynx baby. We had tons of questions and concerns. We must have emailed and called Dionna a 100 times. Never once did she get upset or was annoyed that we were asking so many questions. Dionna does really care about what she does with the Sphynx breed. I will adopt from her again without a doubt! Do your homework on "Holly Madison" from Girls next door. I highly doubt Holly got a sphynx kitten from Dionna. Holly is very classy and HOT woman and would never post ridiculous things such as XXXXL Panties... Holly has more important things to do with her time than post silly, childish and disgusting things as this person here has posted that is claiming to be her. Holly has enough money to go after Dionna Harrell of Avasa Sphynx and not be posting on here trying to get "JUSTICE". Holly would definitely not be complaining of $1000.00. Come on now. I do not own or operate a cattery. I am posting because you are making allegations about someone on the world wide web that is selling cat's with diseases that die but you are not providing any documentation or any of the proper information to prove your case or get the real word out there to the proper people. You are here on this web site to get feedback and to cause dismay to the breeder. If you really want to cause her giref then send the proper information to the proper people. Otherwise this is a hoax and you are really a sick person. There are ways to handle this properly and if you are honestly someone who is running off to Spain to do photo shoots that you surely ust have a manager or someone that can have brains enough to research for you and handl things proprly. How about filing a lawsuit against the breeder if what you are saying in really happening to you. You never asnwered why you would accept a replacement from this person only to get an even sicker cat that can infect lots of other cats. I am calling your bluff either provide the documents from your alleged cats death or stop spreading these horrible rumors. There are two data bases one in Germany and one in the U.S. through the sphynx breeders group. YOu can find all this information on the internet just like you found this site. You can not even state to what degree your dead cats left ventricle is. Please stop spreading lies or prove your case as that is what this site is for.

I have no problem sending all of the vet/cardiologist information but who are the real officials & what list am I sending this two. I do not understand why Sam or Samantha post things that other people right without permission. What is the name of your cattery & your website? Are you in Rhode Island? Have you ever had a kitten or cat die of HCM? I feel uncomfortable sending my personal information to somebody that is not really the actual foundation, organization or group. What role do you play? I would like to know who I am dealing with.

Dionna Shipped the kitten from Chicago IL

My kitten was flown to me from Chicago Il but the check was sent to Greenwood Indiana. I will get the information & fax it to you. Where can I find this HCM database. I did not know there was such a thing & I am very interested. I will get the information & fax it to you. I am leaving Tuesday for a 2 week gig in Spain but will do my best to get everything faxed to you before I leave.

Seems people can not keep things straight when they are not telling the truth!!!
If I was going to file a complaint about someone I would be sure to get the information correct.

I am very interested in finding out further information on this claim. Any proof that you have from the HCM scan would help the Sphynx breed immensely. I am sure if you have owned one of these cats you would know in your heart the importance of sharing this information for the breed and future owners. Can you tell me to what degree of thickening was of Hef's left ventricle? Or further can you send me the HCM report you received from the cardiologist? This would help with the Database that is maintained on The sphynx breeder site. You will need to provide the name of your Cardiologist as well and date of exam. Do you know who is parents are? Also I am sure this cat had a health certificate can you advise who the Doctor was that the breeder used to obtain the Helath Certificate? I am realy unsure why you would accept a replacement cat from her? Are the parent's the same as the cat you lost to HCM? I would love to share this information with the Sphynx community but the burden of proof must be very clear. I can not help you unless you provide the actual scientific data proving your claims here are true. I am sure you are posting this to "Help" people and future cats from suffering. Thank you so much for making people aware but if you can not provide the data you are not really helping us. What I find really amazing is this breeder sent data already to the database for a kitten that she purchased that was also named "Hef" and he was diagnosed with HCM and died soon thereafter. That is very wierd how you both namd your cat that. Hmmmm. Please let me know asap.....So we can stop this.
