I called this "educational facility" today and was really put off by the receptionist refusing to transfer my call to their admissions department unless I provided my FULL NAME, FULL ADDRESS, MY FULL TELEPHONE NUMBER, and other personal information that quite frankly is totally irrelevant to my inquirty. I told the receptionist all I really needed was to know the tuition and she flatly refused to either provide the information to transfer my call to the appropriate party.

Having legal knowledge of how scams worked, this REALLY walked like a scam, talked like a scam, and smelled like a scam. So my next step was to check ripoff report. Yep - its a scam school. After reading Jonell's post from last year and the problems they experienced, my money is better spent somewhere else.

I am copying this email and Jonell's from last year to this "education institute" to let them know - you just lost one student ...

If you enrolled into the academy then this would be an issue. Obtaining information should not be ... you could provide them with false information and THAT would not be an issue. To falsify your admission information might be but not inquiry information.

I'm sure after 9/11 every aviation training school bends over backwards to identify every potenial student. I know nothing about this school but security is probably the reason for the inquiry seeking personal data.
