Award Notification Commission - Larry Hourd Larry Hourd, Executor of Awards Award Certification of winning A) $1,230,946.00 or B) 2,000,000.00 - Bogus! Kansas City Kansas

     Received an official notification via USPS on 07/23/15 stating that I had won a substantial amount of money with two options:  A) $1,230, 946.00 Lump Sum, or B) $2,000,000.00 in a 30 year annuity.  After reading further, an Acquisition Fee of $11.89 was required which immediately sent up a Red Flag.

     After googling "Award Notification Commission Kansas" and "Larry Hourd", I found many reports regarding this scam and disposed of the notification letter.

     My parents and other elders always told me that if something was too good to be true, then it probably isn't.  Sound advice!
