Back in the beginning of Oct money was sent back to my lenders and I tried to find out why it was and why my account showed that I owed $3000.00. I called and email my financial adviser with no response. So I sent a second email with a copy to my academic adviser, finally got a call from my financial adviser but was told that he would look into. I waited a week and called him back, had to remind him that my account needed attention was told again that he would look into it. I emailed him again because I got an invoice in the mail and was told that the money got sent back to the lenders was then told that the money got sent back to the lenders and that he needed to do further research. Never heard from home again and I tried several times to contact him and my academic adviser with no help. After of months not getting any help I sent an email to four different people and finally got a response from only one that my account had went into collections. I am upset that it had to get that far before anyone would help and then I am being told that I have to pay that amount by the end of the month or it goes against my credit. Ok first thing that upset me was the whole reason that this happened because it took my academic counselor too long to put me back into a class, I even emailed her several times about the situation and got no response. Then no one could call and tell me more then you owe this money! What happen we are there for you and will help you how ever we can?  What is the purpose of an academic adviser if they are not there to look out for you? I did not know that about the attendance requirement, then money gets sent back that was to be used to cover classes I had already taken. I am now in a situation that I owe the school money that I dont have and have no idea how I am going to get. I need my transcripts to transfer to another school and now have to put my life on hold because someone couldnt give a heads up or get back to me when I asked questions. This really is bad business and in these times of economic crisis the school and the students cant afford this literally. Am I wrong for being upset? I put my trust in a school and ended with a dept that I cant afford, cant move on with my life and cant get any help!!! I am really not a nasty person but when I feel that I this could have been avoided if someone would just have done what they are paid to do then I cant help but be angry!
