We received a visit from an Axis salesman November 24, 2006 who committed himself to help us out in expanding our business by adding a type of small quick cash business. Our location is not secure in order to be able to open a check cashing business but we did agree in having other additions. We have made various attempts to contact the salesman Segundo Siguencia 1800 799-2947, who promised us to come train us and install all the needed equipment to add on to our business: payment of utility bills, we where also promised a cell phone service where we would sell minutes and even add on phone accessories. After many attempts in trying to contact someone who would assist us, we have come to the conclusion that this company is not here to help its customers and verifies that this is a fraud. All we have receives is a debit/credit card machine which we dont need since we already have one in service since the starting of our business and the check machine which is not needed. We spoke to Armando Betancourt who was to set up our program and his response was that he was not able to come to our location the day he had set up the appointment because he is an illegal immigrant and he would have a problem coming to Nogales, AZ from Tucson, no other reason was given to us. I believe it is the companys responsibility and have send someone who would be able to keep the appointment, already they have been charging us to the account $200 a week
and no service has been provided. Manuel Muena was contacted after many calls ( he was at lunch, break or just not in) and he promised he would fix the problem since he represents our location and until now we have not received any return call or have any of our phone calls answered. We are a new small business in hopes of growing and these IDIOTS are stealing money we don't even have. DON'T MAKE ANY BUSINESS WITH AXIS AND NORTHERN LEASING THEY ARE THEIFS TRYING TO MAKE MONEY ON PEOPLE WITH DREAMS!!!

Anthony, this really shows that you are a SCAM artist running a SCAM company!! Your response that the terminal is very powerful because it has proprietary software programmed inside it is such bullshit!! YOU ARE AN ISO WHO SELLS CREDIT CARD PROCESSING!! The terminals that your sales people lease are programmed to run in the handful of electronic platforms that exist! Your customers could buy the same equipment brand new for $300.00 and input a few programming numbers and it would work fine! YOUR EQUIPMENT IS NOT SPECIAL!!! YOU JUST SAY THIS TO MISLEAD THE CUSTOMER AFTER YOU HAVE SIGNED THEM TO A OVERPRICED LEASE!!

You must stop paying these people --don't let them take any more money from your account--even if you must close account to do it and open new one. Then these people will start making all kinds of phone calls meant to Harrass you. and then they will make threats to take you to court, which they eventually will in New York City. You must fight back and take them to court first in your state. if you don't do that they will have you in court in New York City. They will win by default if you don't show up. If you do show up you will win --make sure that you make a counter claim against them for fraud, Costs you have incurred, and punitive damages.

After I wrote this report they sent me a final notice to pay what I owe them. Which I really don't because everything was returned to Northern Leasing and we never received what we needed. They supposedly fired the salesman (like that does any good to me)They lowered the amount that I supposedly owed and said to pay it with in a certain period or they would charge me the full. I of course never did; one because I didn't owe them any money and second because I don't have the money I don't owe. I tried calling them after they posted a rebuttal in my report asking me to contact them but again I couldn't get a hold of anyone that would be able to assist me. If anyone is willing to do something about these thieves contact me I'm sure up to it. They have affected my credit and stolen my peace of mind! Don't fall in to their trap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello?????????? Axis and Northern Leasing are the same company. They have worked together to SCAM you. They operate under lots of other names as well. They are part of an organized crime syndicate and our government sits by and does nothing.

Axis Merchant Group has thousands of merchants over the past 2 years, and as with any business, we are always going to have a few dozen merchants who are not happy for some reason, like yourself. On this site alone, we have 2-3 unhappy customers out of the thousands we have.

The fact is, you signed the contracts presented to you, and if something did not sound right, you should have never signed the contracts. In no way is Axis Merchant Solutions a fraud or a scam. It is your RESPONSIBILITY, yours, not ours, not an attorney, or anyone else, but your responsibility as a responsible business owner to READ your contract, understand it, ask questions, call the corporate office, let an attorney review it, do your home work, BEFORE you sign the contract. Once you sign the contract, and the equipment is installed, and the lease is verified by YOU with the lease company, then the equipment lease is NON-CANCELLABLE. You AGREED to this and made a decision to go through this entire process.

When we are notified about something that is wrong, or if a customer is unhappy, then we go out of our way to fix the problem. At one time, we had the company President fly to the merchant location to work with the merchant to fix the problem. We take all the steps necessary to fix problems. We spend money to insure equipment and services are working properly, the merchant is fully trained, and have 10 employees on staff to provide support and customer service over the phone for all our clients.

You are stating in your post above that a non-cancellable contract in NOT FAIR. Thousands of consumers every day sign up with companies like cell phone providers, buying a car, and so on, and guess what? The contracts and their terms may seem unfair and it may seem the contracts are 1-sided. No one threatens or forces you to sign the contract. You signed the contract and agreed to its unfair terms. In California, when you buy a car, they have a new law saying there is NO COOLING OFF PERIOD because of buyers remorse or whatever reason. Now that is NOT fair at all. But there are hundreds of thousands of people who buy a vehicle every month in California who understand these UNFAIR conditions, but buy a car anyways.

You are trying to make negative posts regarding Axis Merchant Solutions because of our unfair contract terms and conditions as well as the equipment lease from the leasing company. Guess what? There are hundreds of thousands of business owners every year signing up for a merchant account and leasing equipment, and they are ALL signing and agreeing to the SAME contract terms and equipment lease contract terms as we provide. There are thousands of businesses just like ours who sell the same services and equipment leases, using the same contracts.

Individuals are ignoring PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY and blaming everyone else, call themselves victims of a fraud or a scam, and so on, when they fail to realize that they signed a contract without taking the time to ask questions and make sure it was the best for their business. If our clients have problems, questions, or training issues, we will respond immediately and take care of our clients, and even pay installers to visit your store to provide further training. However, when we have clients who refuse our efforts to provide support and service and just demand cancellation and a refund, there is nothing we can do because the leasing company will not allow the lease to be cancelled.

We have merchants earning an additional $3,000 to $4000 additional income per month using our services. And the equipment lease and all the monthly fees they pay Axis and our vendors are NOT viewed as business expenses, excessive, fraudulent, or a scam. They are viewed as a valuable investment in their own business that is allowing them to earn substantial profits every month while they are able to provide valuable services to their walk-in customers.

You also stated that we OMITTED several factors or terms of the contracts. The equipment lease contract you signed states all the terms and conditions, is a 4 page 11 x 17 folded document, and in no way can any sales rep or company EVER be able to hide anything from any client. The leasing company PERSONALLY verifies the lease contract with the business owner OVER THE PHONE IN A RECORDED PHONE CALL FOR QUALITY PURPOSES and asks a series of questions to insure the business owner clearly understands the contract, what they signed, the lease amount, how many months, and clearly asks the business owner if they do understand that the lease is NON-CANCELLABLE, and if they still understand this term and agree to it, and the business owner must verbally over the phone in a recorded call say YES they agree to the dollar amount x how many months and they must say YES that they understand the lease is NON-CANCELABLE. So clearly YOU had 2 opportunities to decide NOT to sign the contract or change your mind before the lease is legal and enforceable. So your statements are far from the truth.

Same problems across the US (Im in California)

I feel your pain. Segundo Sequencia also did me wrong here in California and apparently according to inside information from their own people from Axis Merchant group, this guy has done wrong other small business owner all over the place.

What is the resolution that Axis Merchant group is willing to take?

Simply "wash their hands" and say we cant contro everyone that works for us and we are simply the middle man for the different service providers like Northern Leasing which is in legal trouble as well.

My suggetion to you is to report them to the better business bureau and file a complaint. Although they may listen to you for a few days, soon they will prove to you that you are simply one small business owner and they have thousands more that hey can milk and one unhappy customer is not going to affect them.

In my case I will take legal action in hopes to resolve this problem.

When I realized that I had been taken by this company I called the CEO of Axis Merchant group Anthony Manzilla and he was "so nice" and "attentive" to our concerns.....yeah, that lasted a few days than he ignored us just like they are doing it to you. They tell me everytime that he is out of the office, he is in a conference call, etc, etc. I leave messages and nobody returns my calls.

Dear Osga,

First of all I would like to apologize about your experience. We try to make our customers happy no matter what. Armando has been with us for a long time and is a Valid US citizen. We have flown him to our corporate location multiple times within the past few years. We have sat down with Armando and he has told us that he is 100% legal and was born in the USA. We do not hire anyone without a valid SSN and a thorough background check. As far as Segundo he does not work here at corporate, he is an outside sales contractor for many companies. We would like to encourage you to give us a call so that we can properly train you on how to use our services. I am sure that if properly trained you will begin to realize the power for this useful terminal. Your terminal may "look" like an ordinary credit card machine, however it is built differently and has proprietary software embedded inside.

In regards to your clame of a weekly debit, our records are not showing this. If you would give us a call at 800-799-2947 we would be happy to assist you in any way we can. If we do find that there were unauthorized debits, we are more than happy to refund the amount of the error.

Once we program your machine back, we would be happy to offer you enrollment into our Axis Advantage program when we launch it at no cost. This will be marketing targeted in your area to direct traffic to your location for bill payment and other services.
