Backpage.com Deletes postings for no reason, no customer support or reason why Internet 

A couple of months ago I posted a job ad seeking an independent contractor. Nothing out of the ordinary, nothing illegal and certainly nothing violating any terms of service. The ad posted normally at first but then soon after I realized it was deleted for no reason at all. I emailed customer support to ask why my ad was removed but received no answer.

I was considering purchasing the option to post in multiple cities at the same time to get a better response and more resumes but after seeing my initial ad deleted and no response from customer support I thought it might be better to post my ad again first and wait and see if support would ever respond to my initial inquiry. I changed a few words just in case something was incorrectly flagged and posted my ad again. Once again my ad was deleted for no reason at all. I emailed customer support again and no response once again.

Just to see if someone was just being a pain and reporting random ads in this city I then posted my ad in a different city but once again it was deleted without reason. I emailed support and mentioned I would be filing a complaint against this company for deleting my ads multiple times without reason and not responding via support to explain why.

I am 100% glad I did not purchase the option to post in multiple cities or I would have been scammed out of my money as soon as they deleted my ads. I am sure they would gladly take my money, delete my ads and not respond via customer support. What is the point of customer support if no one will ever respond?

This is more of a warning, do not spend any money posting ads with Backpage.com or you very well could find yourself with ads deleted for no reason and no customer support to tell you why and most importantly scammed out of your money. Companies that charge for services need support departments and companies like Backpage that do not respond are a complete fraud.
