I received a phone call at my place of employment from Baker and Mckenzie Law Firm. Someone named Angie started threatening me and stating that I owed a company named American Payday 860.00 and if I did not western union the money by 1 pm I would be arrested that day.

I told them I did not have a loan with that company. She advised me to call 1-206-577-9992 and ask for Davis Chambers and he would have all of the information. I did call this number and spoke to him. I told him I did not owe this money and he proceeded to inform me that he would give me till 3 pm to have it paid. I reluctantly agreed and sent the money to a Danielle Mariah Estep in Waldorf, Maryland. I have found out that these people are scanners. I called the number back and told them I wanted my money back and a copy of any loan papers they should have if I in fact did borrow money from a payday loan company. There has been no record of any deposit into my account from such company.

I have called them back numerous times and each time they insist on depositing the money into my bank account and I refuse. I insist on a return of my money VIA western union and no other way. I also received another call at my place of employment today with the same voice stating he was with Payday America and that I owed them money and if I didn't pay I would be arrested. Same bunch of people,using different names, all have thick Indian accents and none of them can give you any details. I told the man that called today that he could do whatever he wanted but he wasn't getting a dime. How can I get my money back and what can be done to arrest these people? They also have somehow gotten a hold of some personal information and that makes me very uneasy.
