I purchased the boat cash, I did not haggle the price at all. The seller told me that there was nothing wrong with the boat he's had it for 4 months prior to my purchase. When it was time for me to get the boat. He wanted me to pay $1300 on repairs that he said it needed, and wouldn't let the boat go without the repairs being done. We both knew that would have been theft on his part.
Next, after I paid for some of the repair work, I was called by the seller a "crook." This was because I wouldn't pay for repair work, after I was told that the boat was in fine condition. Finally, when I received delivery, I wasn't given the Trailer that it was stored on and was told it would cost an additional $2,000 + .
So, I went to the nearest Marina to get someone to help me transport this boat, because the owner of Bald Knob, wouldn't do a delivery, and wouldn't provide a trailer. I paid $7000.00 for a 1987 boat without a trailer, ah yes the boat was sitting on a trailer when I purchased it.
