I paid Blue Dolphin Pools $10,000 in cash and they have walked off the job.

Under normal circumstances a pool is dug out, first, then the cement is poured and back-filling follows.  BD did things in reverse, not anticipating that they would run into ledge.  Ledge happens, but the problem, now, is that they cannot bring an excavator into the pool.  I guess a bulldozer does not fit in a pool, so they collected their tools, took my pool supplies and have not been back.  They do not know how to address this after-the-fact ledge removal without blasting the pool, along with the rock.  Please do not give them any business.  Buy your supplies online or go to a reputable pool company and never purchase a pool from Blue Dolphin.
