I was looking for a career change and in need of some assistance since I have been in the same industry for some time.
I was taken in by the VP on the first visit and decided to make the second visit with my wife as requested. This guy really knows his job and I hope he is being well paid. He can find all the ego buttons in a very short period of time. During the second visit I became a little uneasy with the discussion but decided to continue on at my wife's urging.
It just sounded to good, they had all the answers, their hidden job market, the analysis of my skills, how valuable I was, the transferable skills I had that could fit into any industry, the new powerful resume they would create and on and on.
In the end you do everything yourself...the hidden job market is your own friends and contacts...your transferable skills...you already have... and on each visit they pump you up more and give you new websites to check out to trac down and land your own job.
By the way the visits grow further and further apart untill finally , your calls won't be returned, you are blamed for not following their program, you're not trying hard enough and on and on until finally you say enough and don't bother calling in anymore. Now they have your money and do not have to put up with you so they move on to the next sucker.
I fealt bad enough and I still had an income. I met a number of individuals during interviews and seminars at the Haldane office who where unemployed and had scrapped together enough money for Haldane to assist them in getting back into the work force. All they got was people laughing behind their backs.
When an Individual is out of work for what ever reason, your ego and self respect already take a beating with out idiot being paid to take further advantage of you. this is the kind of company who would hand you a gas can when your clothes are on fire. They really don't give a s**t.
All employee of Bernard Haldane and Associates I think are required to have no concience at all.If they did, they could not work for such and organization.
If you have been lucky enough to land a position through Haldane, I would be willing to wager that you got that position on your own, but these butt heads are taking the credit.
One final thing, during the first couple of meetings, I was told time and again that Bernard Haldane only ever had one unsatisfied Client. YOU LIEING BASTARDS. what the hell are all these reports on this one web site.
Someone has to get these guys out of business. once they are, they can come to me and I'll help them find work, I got a couple of out houses need to be enlarged, the way they throw the s**t around, I know they are qualified.
