I would just like to add my thank you for your reporting of scams perpertrated by Bernard Haldan Assoc. I was almost a victim as well.
My story is that one night out of the blue, I get a call from BHA saying they seen my resume and would like to schedule an interview. We set the time/date, and when I get to their offices, it was very impressive. The counselor I was to meet comes out to greet me, asks for a fresh copy of my resume and tells me to make myself comfortable while he reviews my resume, and while I was at it to get some coffee and read over his bio that was in a nice leather bound book that had the bios's of all the counselors.
We then go into his office and have our meeting, it goes the same as many have stated on this site. At the end of the meeting he tells me that all of the counselors get together and go over the resume with "a fine tooth comb" to see if they can work with me. He says that if he calls me by 6 pm that evening, the won't be able to work with me, but we set a dat for a second meeting. He then informs me that I have to bring my wife along. When I ask why, he states its their policy. So, I leave the office feeing really good about myself and the chance of getting a dexent position.
When I tell my wife about it, she asks for the name of the company and said she had some time, so she would check them out. She found this site and called me from work to tell me about it and I got online and checked it out. Needles to to say, I will not be going back for the second meeting and I will tell them the
reason for not showing up.
Again, kudos to you folks and this site for saving me a lot of unnecessary grief.
