On Dec. 18th I took my laptop to Best Buy (Joplin Mo.) store, because it would come on, it would only give 7 loud beeps..I have the black tie coverage, so I didn't hesitate to take it to them..They shipped it off to the repair center, 11 days later it came back and the had changed the motherboard, ok great no big deal, but told me the rest of the system checked out fine...Took the laptop home, turned it one and immediately noticed a line down my screen (dead pixels) caused while the did the repairs on the motherboard..So the next day I took it back to them and they said NO PROBLEM, we will ship it right back they will change the screen and get it right back, it"s our bad..I specifically asked them do I need to back up my hard drive so I don't lose anything on my computer..THEY SAID OH NO..IT"S THE SCREEN NO NEED TO BACK UP ANYTHING IT WON'T AFFECT THE HARD DRIVE AT ALL...14 days later I call asking what the hold up with my computer is and the said we just got it back today, and we fixed the screen and REPLACED THE HARD DRIVE....WHAT!!!! ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME..They said while running the tests on the system it said the the hard drive showed signs of weakness, so we replaced it..So now I lost everything...When I asked how come it didn't show signs of weakness he first time the did repairs??? They couldn't answer me...So I demanded my original hard drive back, they said they will let me know in 24 hours if they still have it. Bottom line...Something need to be done with them, I have read so many reports about other people having the same problem, I only wish I would have known this BEFORE I took there word on anything..
