I was there on September 19th...who is your sister?  We all know each other by first name and last initial.  Good chance I spent time with her, the girls stick pretty close together.  I left on September 29th.

My sister is there and I know she was there during your stays as she checked in Sept. 19th and now, almost 2 months later we have heard nothing!?! Not a word, call, letter, nothing despite REPEATED REQUESTS AND DEMANDS for some correspondence. She was sent via court order but I am not sure if the rules are different for voluntary intake and if that explains why she cant contact us or any family, her husband, relatives, loving & friends.
We just want to know IS SHE OKAY?

I cannot believe what I have been reading, it actually makes things worse. What we cant believe is her attorney highly recommended Best Drug Rehab but there are just far too many legitimate complaints for them to be dismissed as addicts not getting their way or this behavior is to be expected.
Because of the already fragile condition of incoming patients what I have researched is a travesty, and a stop has to be put to this and similar operations before another incident happens.

But specifically, I need to find out how she is doing. We know she got into some trouble for having sexual relations with another patient, but how that even was allowed to happen is shocking and the blame partially lies elsewhere. What addict in that early stage of recovery ISNT looking for just about ANYTHING to take away the pain and suffering? But we are terrified now to find out what her punishment was/is? Was she beaten physically? Was she mentally tortured? Was she forced to have sex with one of the staff?

PLEASE, I beg of either of you to reach out to us and maybe just allow us to hear from someone who has BEEN there, not a staff member. We want to hear the good, bad and ugly just as long as its the truth. We know shes no angel but she is there is get help, not be abused any more than she already has been in her life. We need to quickly make a decision if she should b pulled out and placed elsewhere and its urgent we do it immediately. Tonight, tomorrow, even now doesnt seem to be fast enough.

Lets just say she is impossible to miss. We can correspond entirely through email or phone call, whenever and wherever your comfort level lies. Please try to remember where each of you were at mentally the first 5-6 weeks at the facility (if you made it that long) and then think
if you had not heard a WORD?!?!? Thats where we are at now.

If anyone else was at BDR from Sept 19th 2012 to present and wants to  help give us some piece of mind, also please feel free to contact us directly straight away. I would hope after your personal ordeal you will find the compassion to reach out so we can either sleep or get into action IMMEDIATELY.

i returned home frombdr about 3 weeks ago, your husband is right there is way more going on than anyone knows, the place is based on scientology,once they find out your telling your family the truth they will contact your family and tell them your lying and  just drug seeking and will take the phones from you and make you talk on speaker in front of a case manager, everyone there was told lies to get them there. the place is very dirty and the staff is not professional and when i was there some of the staff was drinking and doing drugs. there is no couseling and the classes consist of talking to ashtrays and staring at another client for half an hour. there were many clients trying to leave and was told they cant have their personal belongings, all your husband needs to do is call the cops and the cops will come and force bdr to give him his belongings, i seen it done many times while i was there. i left early but  i knew the process so when i told my kids what was going on i told them bdr would call him back saying im lying and drug seeking so when they called my son he hung up on them, so i was planning on leaving in 2 days,had a plane ticket but my daughter came on ripoff report and filed a complaint.  the director amber saw my daughters complaint on here and forced me to leave 2 days early due to being worried i would convice other clients to leave. you need to get your loved one out of there its brainwashing and i have heard theres 44 lawsuites and 4 suicides since they opened.  good luck hope this helps.
