Best Price Cameras Scam suspected after attempts to speak to a person failed Brooklyn New York

Over a week ago, I ordered a Canon EOS digital rebel XTi from best Price Cameras. the internet listed them as a trusted 5 star company with good service. A week later when i had not received the camera I called. After spending 2 1/2 hours on the phone trying to speak to a person to get an anser, I filed an on line complaint. The people who answered the phone were rude, abrupt and repeated a set of lines...your credit card will not be charged til the item is mailed.....Two people hung up. when I called service, they told me the camera was on back order and when I wuestioned him further he hung up the phone. I then called the number for sales. They told me the item was in stock in the store so I asked why service told me it was out of stock and...you guessed it...they hung up again. I don't know who the manager is and I did want to speak to him/her but when I kept calling back no one answered the phone. I smell a real scam and am only sorry that I didn't find this site before I placed the order because I just lost valuable time before the holidays.
