Blue Whale Publications Rip Off artists Fort Lauderdale Florida

These people called my home number and woke my daughter up. They then proceeded to scam her while she was still half- asleep and talked her into their magazines.... They have threatened to sue, they have threatened to turn it over to a collection agency, they have refused to cancel the subscriptions AND they called a number that has been on the FEDERAL - DO NOT CALL list since its inception. I told me daughter that if they call back they will have to speak the her "attorney" and that when they ask for the number she is to tell them that she will only release that information upon a WRITTEN REQUEST from them on company letterhead. I have also placed a fruad alert on her credit account for her and canceled her debit card. I intend to make it as difficult for these "people" to collect a cent as possible and have actually gone so far as to record any conversations we have had with them....

My suggestion to anyone attempting to "deal" with these people is DON'T...They are a pure rip off and are only trying to intimidate you by threatening to "wreck your credit" (their exact words not mine). I have informed them that should they call my home again I will file criminal charges against them personally for stalking and harrassment (their address is on this complaint so the deputies will know where to serve the warrants).

I think the state of Florida should be responsible enough to shut these people down immediately as scam artists, but then again we are talking about the government actually protecting the citizens (grin)

We will see where it goes from here. Any attempt by them to alter her credit account will be met with legal action to nullify their "claim". Actually if I were in florida I would get a summary judgement against them for fraud and attach all their assets to satisify the judgement.....play their own game against them.
